Xavier Admission Test (XAT) 2009
X AT 2009 will be conducted in 31 cities on January 04, 2009

XAT is a National level Admission Test to select the most appropriate students
for its management education.. There are 35 other Management Institutes who
are selecting students from XAT 2009.
Last date for receiving the XAT PP Form at XAT office, XLRI Jamshedpur: 5th
December 2008.
XAT Exam 2009: 4th January 2009 from 10:00 am to 12:30 am.
PG Programs Offered at XAT 2009:
Master of Business Administration: Two year
Business Management Program: Two year full time
Personal Management and Industrial Relations Program: Two year full time
General Management Program: One year full time program for working executives
Executive PG Program: Three year part time program for working executives
Eligibility for XAT 2009 :
Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university as eligible for Post-Graduate studies in Management.

Application Process for XAT 2009 :
You can obtain the bulletin and prospectus from XAT office, XLRI, Jamshedpur
as well as from some selected branches of AXIS bank with the payment of Rs.800/-
Registration for XAT 2009 :
You can log on the institute website and go for the registration. You have
to fill in the form and select for the program. After filling the details
required in the form you can get an ID and password. After providing the application
details you can proceed to have a printout of payment advice and photo form.
The candidate has to paste his/her recent photograph and put full signature
in the designated space provided on the XAT PP Form. The candidate has to
enclose the third copy of the bank ( XAT) pay-in-slip along with the completed
XAT PP Form in the special envelope provided in the XAT Bulletin and send
it by registered post / speed post / courier within a week of obtaining the
XAT Bulletin. Mention your XAT ID and name on the reverse of the Bank pay-in-slip.
You can keep a copy of printout of XAT ID and password for any modifications
to personal details, taking a printout of XAT 2009 Admit Card and for any
correspondence with the XAT Office.
You can go on line to www.xlri.edu anytime during during December 18, 2008
and January 1, 2009 and take a print out of the XAT 2009 Admit Card where
the Address of the Test Centre will be mentioned.
